π§ Ready to take your research journey to the next level?
Weβre excited to invite you to two online webinars designed to inspire you, challenge your perspective, and help you get started with research! π¬π These sessions are organised by the Students' Research Unit (Egypt) and FSV Fysiek (The Netherlands). This sign-up is for the first webinar on October 8th.
πΉ October 8 β How to Get Started with Research Effectively
In this first session, Roland R Reezigt is the invited speaker. Roland is a pain specialised physio/manual therapist and practice owner, teacher of Physiosiotherapy (Bachelor of Science) at the Hanze in Groningen and teacher at the master Musculoskeletal Physiotherapeutic Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Master of Science). He is active in two distinct research projects; on pain processing mechanisms including interventions, and on education/information on pain for public health, patients, students and healthcare professionals.
Roland will give insights in his journey into research, key learning points, how to clinical practice and research can be connected and you can ask or discuss anything you want in the open Q&A / discussion.
πΉ October 22 β Education-Led, Studentsβ Research Unit
In the second session (October 22th), Mazen Mohamed Sayed is invited. Mazen is the Education Lead at the Students' Research Unit, a unique student-organised collective where interest in research, learning about research and creating critical thinking is central. Beyond the innovate way of learning, the level is impressively high based upon the output that the Unit delivers, published (and under review) papers including systematic reviews.
Mazen did an extra research internship based upon his far going interest in critical thinking with prof Jan Hartvigsen in Denmark, further helping his learning. He will give insights in the unique Students' Research Unit, on extracurricular research as student, on student-led peer-review for official (high-impact) journals and publishing systematic reviews as a student.
π¬ Both sessions include an open Q&A, so bring your questions!
